I think it's a colossal shame how negatively the community has received the DLC over something so comparatively petty as 2 fewer bosses than Artorias, despite that the level is larger and other things are more content-rich too.
I can't emphasize enough how strongly I think it's worth it. The level and environmental design is also some of the best From ever did. But one of those bosses is a top tier boss in the entire series. It is fairly short, because there are only 2 bosses, so there's less for you to get stuck at and die a lot. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of Souls content.
I warmly, most emphatically recommend getting Ashes of Ariandel. It's basically all about it supposedly being too short but nevermind that. I'll warn you that the community has becoming infested with a spiral of self-perpetuating negativity over this dlc. You have no reason to listen to me over anyone else but I'd still like it if you did.
